Job Description

Job Description: A PHP Developer is responsible for creating and implementing server-side web application logic. They develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application. A PHP Developer is also responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Web Development: Develop server-side logic using PHP and ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

2. Database Management: Design, develop, and maintain databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc., ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and availability.

3. API Development: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect the application with third-party web services.

4. Front-end Integration: Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

5. Code Optimization: Identify and fix performance and scalability issues within the application.

6. Security: Implement security best practices to protect the application against security vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, XSS attacks, etc.

7. Version Control: Utilize version control systems such as Git for managing codebase and collaboration with other team members.

8. Testing: Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure the reliability and quality of the code.

9. Documentation: Document code and technical specifications for future reference and maintainability.

10. Troubleshooting: Investigate and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing.

11. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
